Terms of use

Last updated: October 2026

1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made from Quy & Co through quyandco.com and, where applicable, orders placed directly with Quy & Co by e-mail, telephone or other remote communication.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Norwegian law and shall not limit any mandatory rights you have as a consumer under applicable Norwegian consumer legislation.

The Terms and Conditions applicable to your purchase are those in effect at the time your order is placed.

2. Seller information

Quy & Co
HTT HOLDING AS
Organisation No.: 918054855
Maridalsveien 52b
0458 Oslo, Norway

E-mail: inquiry@quyandco.com

The legal company name, organisation number and address should correspond with the entity operating the online store and issuing the invoice.

3. Products

We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as possible.

Colours and textures may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and the display settings of your device. Natural materials such as leather, suede, wool and other fabrics may also have minor variations in colour, texture and appearance.

Such natural variations are not necessarily considered defects.

Product availability may change and we reserve the right to discontinue products.

4. Made-to-Measure and Made-to-Order Products

Certain Quy & Co products are made specifically for the individual customer. This may include made-to-measure tailoring, made-to-order garments and other products manufactured according to the customer's individual measurements, specifications or personal selections.

Where a product is manufactured according to the customer's individual specifications or otherwise given a clearly personalised character, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply in accordance with Section 22 of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerett loven).

This exception does not affect your statutory rights if the product is defective or does not correspond with what was agreed.

Estimated production and delivery times for made-to-measure and made-to-order products will be communicated when the order is placed. Such estimates may vary depending on production, fabric availability, holidays and transportation.

5. Placing an Order

Before completing an online purchase, you will have the opportunity to review your order, delivery information and total price and to correct any errors.

Products placed in your shopping bag are not reserved until the order has been completed.

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail containing information about your purchase.

If we are unable to fulfil an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. Any amount already paid for a product that cannot be supplied will be refunded.

An order may also be cancelled where there is an obvious pricing, product or technical error that the customer knew or reasonably should have understood was incorrect.

6. Prices

All prices displayed for customers in Norway include Norwegian VAT unless otherwise clearly stated.

Any applicable delivery costs will be displayed before the order is completed.

The total price payable by the customer, including applicable taxes and additional costs, will be shown before the purchase is confirmed.

Prices may change from time to time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been validly concluded.

7. Payment

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout.

Payments are processed securely through the payment providers available on our Website.

The timing of authorisation and capture of payment may depend on the payment method used.

Quy & Co does not store complete payment card details on its own systems where payment information is processed directly by an authorised third-party payment provider.

8. Delivery

Available shipping methods, delivery charges and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout or communicated when the order is placed.

Unless another delivery time has been agreed, goods shall be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the purchase in accordance with applicable Norwegian consumer legislation.

Different delivery times may apply to made-to-measure and made-to-order products where a longer production or delivery period has been agreed with the customer.

Once an order has been dispatched, tracking information will normally be provided where available.

If delivery is delayed, the customer has the rights provided by applicable Norwegian consumer legislation.

9. Right of Withdrawal

For standard products purchased through distance selling, consumers normally have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without providing a reason.

The withdrawal period normally runs for 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify Quy & Co before the withdrawal period expires.

You may contact us at:

inquiry@quyandco.com

You may use the statutory withdrawal form provided with your order, but you are not required to use a specific form. A clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase is sufficient.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products manufactured according to the customer's individual specifications or products that have otherwise been given a clearly personalised character.

This includes qualifying made-to-measure and individually customised products.

10. Returns

After notifying us that you are exercising your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the notification was sent.

Return instructions will be provided by Quy & Co.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product, unless otherwise agreed or stated by Quy & Co.

The customer is entitled to inspect the product in the same way as would normally be possible in a physical store.

The customer may be responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.

Shoes should therefore only be tried indoors on a clean surface. Product packaging, shoe boxes and accessories should be treated with reasonable care.

The absence of original packaging or tags does not automatically remove the statutory right of withdrawal, although damage or unnecessary handling may result in a deduction corresponding to an actual reduction in value.

11. Refunds

When the statutory right of withdrawal is validly exercised, Quy & Co will refund payments received from the customer, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.

Additional delivery costs resulting from the customer choosing a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery option are not refundable.

Refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive notification of the customer's decision to withdraw.

We may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or the customer provides documentation showing that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.

Unless otherwise expressly agreed, the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

12. Exchanges

Quy & Co may offer exchanges for standard products subject to availability.

Exchange policies offered by Quy & Co are in addition to, and do not restrict, statutory consumer rights.

Made-to-measure and individually customised products cannot normally be exchanged due solely to a change of mind.

This does not affect the customer's rights where a product is defective or does not conform to the agreement.

13. Sale Products

Unless otherwise stated, statutory withdrawal rights for distance purchases also apply to products purchased on sale.

Any voluntary exchange policy offered by Quy & Co may differ for sale products.

Statutory rights relating to defective products are not affected by a product being purchased on sale.

14. Defective Products and Complaints

If a product is defective or does not correspond with what was agreed, you may have rights under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act (Forbrukerkjøpsloven).

A complaint must be made within a reasonable time after you discovered or should have discovered the defect. A complaint made within two months of discovering the defect will always be considered to have been made within a reasonable time.

The statutory complaint period is generally two years from delivery. If the product, or parts of it, is intended through normal use to last substantially longer than two years, the complaint period is five years.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the customer may be entitled to remedies including repair, replacement, price reduction, termination of the purchase and/or compensation.

Please contact:

customercare@quyandco.com

with your order information and a description of the issue.

These rights apply independently of any additional commercial guarantee offered by Quy & Co.

15. Personal Data

Quy & Co processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Information about what personal data we collect, why we process it, how long it is retained, the legal basis for processing and your rights can be found in our Privacy Policy.

Payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers in accordance with their respective privacy policies and applicable law.

16. Cookies

Our Website uses cookies and similar technologies.

Strictly necessary cookies may be used where required for the Website to function.

Where consent is legally required for analytics, advertising or other optional cookies or tracking technologies, these technologies will not be activated before valid consent has been obtained.

You can choose which optional categories you consent to and can withdraw or change your consent at any time through the cookie settings available on the Website.

17. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of the Website, including the Quy & Co name, trademarks, logos, photographs, graphics, designs and text, is owned by or licensed to Quy & Co and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Content may be used for personal and non-commercial purposes only unless otherwise permitted by Quy & Co in writing.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions grants any licence or right to use Quy & Co trademarks or other intellectual property for commercial purposes.

18. Website Information

We aim to ensure that information on the Website is accurate and up to date.

However, typographical errors, technical errors and temporary interruptions may occur.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.

19. Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under Norwegian law.

Quy & Co shall otherwise be responsible in accordance with applicable Norwegian law.

20. Force Majeure

Quy & Co shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations where performance is prevented by circumstances outside our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Such circumstances may include natural disasters, war, government measures, major transport disruptions, strikes or other extraordinary events outside our reasonable control.

This provision does not restrict any mandatory rights the customer may have under Norwegian law.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Any changes will apply to future purchases from the date the updated Terms and Conditions are published.

The Terms and Conditions applicable to an order are those that were in effect when the relevant purchase was made.

22. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions and purchases from Quy & Co are governed by Norwegian law.

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the matter directly.

Consumers may also contact the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) or other competent consumer dispute resolution bodies.

Any court proceedings shall be brought before a court having jurisdiction under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits a consumer's mandatory rights regarding jurisdiction or dispute resolution.
